Posture Point

Established in 1988, Posture Point has achieved its current market position by its professional attitude, specialist knowledge, customer care and competitive pricing. Posture Point boasts one of Europe's widest ranges of specialist seating and therefore attracts visitors and customers from around the globe.

Nursebank

Nursebank specialises in the recruitment of nursing professionals from around the world to fill vacancies in the UK for both NHS and private hospitals. The site enables nurses to assess their own qualifications in the light of UKCC regulations and gives advice to candidates on work permits and nurse licencing requirements. In addition, nurses can complete a simple registration form to enable nursebank to start the process of finding suitable employment.

WebWizz designed, constructed and published the site in June 1999 and the site is already receiving approximately 50 hits per day from nursing professionals throughout the world.

The Ergonomic Distribution Company

The Ergonomic Distribution Company (EDC) specialises in the import and distribution of ergonomic products. As the sole UK distributors of Hoganasmobler seating and Swopper 'bouncing stools', EDC advertises its specialist products in the UK national press and exhibits at most major furniture exhibitions.

EDC wanted a site that could act as a focal point for purchasers interested in the range of products available, to display and launch products which were new to the UK and to advertise the contact details, web sites and addresses of its UK distributors and dealers.

Postal Presents

Postal Presents are providing a new 'gifts by post' service. An unusual selection of quality gifts are displayed and visitors can choose an item and arrange for gift wrapping and dispatch to the lucky recipient. Currently, ordering is by email with credit card details provided within the email text - the next logical step is to move towards a full e-commerce solution with secure servers (SSL), 'on-line' credit authorisation and e-mail autoresponders.

WebWizz designed, constructed and published the Postal Presents site onto the web within 15 days of being awarded the contract.

The Craft Gallery

The Craft Gallery displays all manner of arts and crafts from around the UK. Based on the 'Mall' principle, exhibitors 'rent a shop window' to display their products on the web. Each exhibitor has its own 'home page' with photographs, descriptions and, in most cases, products can be ordered directly from the screen.

The Gallery handles all the advertising and administration and any e-mails or orders sent by viewers to each exhibitor are forwarded to them by The Craft Gallery within 24 hours by e-mail, fax or post. This enables even those firms who do not have computers or web access facilities to benefit from a web presence in the electronic company of other craft traders.
