We’ve been watching MOMOLAND’s surprise smash “Bboom Bboom” climb the charts this month, and now the song has hit another milestone.
The Shinsadong Tiger-produced track just reached No. 4 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart. This makes it the third best-selling K-pop song in America this week, ranking behind BTS’ “Mic Drop” and “DNA.”
“Bboom Bboom” has become wildly successful since its release this month. After a slow start, the song has gradually been rising up the digital charts and racking up millions of YouTube views. So far, it’s peaked at No. 14 on Melon and hit 14.6 million views on YouTube.
However, the song’s success hasn’t come without controversy. Russian girl group Serebro have accused MOMOLAND of ripping off their hit “Mi Mi Mi,” but Shinsadong Tiger has denied the claims.
